He better have plan A, B and C laid out since there will be constant adjustments in the fight. If he lays down a fight plan spanning 12 rounds, then he should be fine. Manny's mentally ready though, and you can see it during the post-fight interview when Merchant mentions Maywether. Pac clinches his teeth and a determined expression takes over his face. This will be one for the ages.

Which mayweather posses in greater heights. But delahoya came close with a roach based strategy, this is where it will be dangerous for floyd. A roach strategy.

And also knowing floyd went down from a check hook vs judah. A punch manny is alrdy getting good with. See hatton fight.
So it will be difficult. And it becomes clear why floyd is hooking up with judah, for sparring. I guess. We cant underestimate his preparation.
Yea on the contrary as well... Floyd will be without a doubt Manny's hardest opponent to date as well as Manny being Floyd's hardest opponent to date as well... Manny's speed/workrate gives Floyd problems... Floyd's counter punching/ring generalship givs Manny problems....

Is this the same Roach who said after the De la hoya fight that "if Floyd wants to come back we'll KNOCK HIM OUT TOO"? well he's certainly changed his tune, i guess realism is starting to set in .

If Mayweather doesnt win by wide UD hes not winning a decision at all. The judges know that hes more prone to retire after a Win, so any close fight will go to Pacquiao.

My probability for this fight is:

            Mayweather UD .40
            Pacquiao KO: .30
            Mayweather KO .25
            Pacquiao Decision/Draw/SD: .05

I bet you he wins a clear decision at the least. And Pac never stopped Marquez so why does it matter? Knocked him down 3 times and got a draw...

[QUOTE=Soir;5217400]Just heard on the Jim Rome show.

"Mayweather is too slick and elusive, but I think Pacquiao will win by UD"

He said Pacquiao would be training for twelve 3 minute rounds for a distance fight, and try to pressure on the ropes"[/Q

Roach knows he will have to train manny in track and field in the long distance marathon because ugly boy floyd will do about 30 laps a round running and ducking from manny's onslaught !!!!
