The guy got hit with a lovely shot by Mayweather. Then he went head first into the turnbuckle. Still he got up. PBF had to finish him off with a left hook.
Hatton got caught by some very hard punches from Pac. He got up. Twice. Only a devastating left hand (punch of the year) kept him down.
Ricky Hatton went up against the best, and went out on his shield. Twice. And he always tried to keep fighting. Until the end. I personally dislike the guy, but I have to respect his heart and effort. Ricky tried to get his William Wallace on.
It reminds me of another guy who I didn't like - Fernando Vargas. Tito was tooling him up. Those punches were wicked - from one of the best punchers of this generation. He went down twice in the 12th round. The fight was already lost. Nando kept trying to the very end. Against Oscar, he took punches and tried to fight. He went out like a true Aztec Warrior. Much props for that.
Guys like that may not be the best fighters. but they sacrifice a lot. Just give them their respect for trying to fight through a lot of pain.Unlike maricons like that puta from Caguas, Cotto, or that weepy brasilena Freitas.
He deserves whatever the second place prize is in Boxing.
