Is Freddie Roach capable of creating a plan to beat Floyd Jr?

We all know Freddie Roach is a hall-of-fame coach already but beating Floyd Jr is probably the biggest test (strategically) for Roach.

Do you think Freddie is smart enough to create a gameplan for Manny to beat Floyd?

If so, do you think Manny can execute?

It may also be a possibility that Freddie can devise a perfect plan but it's so difficult that Manny won't be able to do it (or maybe because Floyd can adjust as well).

    Any thoughts?

I think they can create a plan that works, though knowing Manny he might just go a bit crazy in there and start trying to KO Mayweather when he thinks he has him hurt which could kill the gameplan.

No, i don't think they can create a plan just as no plan could have helped against prime roy jones. If pac dosen't have the speed and ability to beat floyd (which we hopefully will see) no plan in the world is gonna help him just as no plan could have helped hatton against pac. If Floyd still is what he was 18 months ago a floyd -pac fight will be a huge test for both fighters.

He could like he did for De La Hoya, but it would be up to Manny to stick to that game plan. A boxer-technician like Floyd is also great at adjusting to fighters game plans, so regardless of that plan Manny would have to stick to it like crazy...

          roach actually does.

If you watch Pacs last 2 fights, you'll see that Pac has the handspeed and possibly (if not pretty close) the foot speed of Floyd.

Roach is perfectly capable of making a gameplan to beat Floyd. He did with Oscar (though Oscar gassed). Manny has all the tools to beat Floyd (except maybe power to hurt Floyd with 1 punch) and Roach has all the smarts to make the gameplan.

          The fight will be Manny's

It doesn't matter what plan they use. Freddie can just point Manny in Floyd's direction, and PBF will run, pee his pants, and get knocked out.

i don't know. freddie is a smart man and he seemed pretty confident in the post fight interview on saturday. he wouldn't have been so confident if he didn't have something in mind.

Manny is flawed. The way he bends down when dodging leaves him open to Floyd's upper cuts.anyone who thinks Manny can beat Floyd is mistaken.

No because you can't predict what Mayweather will do once he adapts
