  • Pacquiao (DLH/Hatton Vs Marquez (Casamayor/Diaz)

Which wins were the most impressive for you from both boxers most recent fights?

Pacquiao fought a weight-drained DLH, and Hatton looked like a frail skeleton in the ring, but both performances were impressive with Pac dominating every round of either fight, showing improvements in all departments, and most importantly carrying his speed and power as he moved up in weight.

Marquez fought two magnificent fights from a spectating view, in which he was troubled by both Casamayor and Diaz respectively, but stopped both men in an inspiring manner. Casamayor was arguably depleted as a fighter, but regarded a major threat for anybody at Lightweight, while Diaz has proved that he can hang with the elites, showing possibilities to beat them.

Who's wins do you regard better?

Pacs wins over De La Hoya and Hatton. Marquez's wins are great wins as well though.

Yeah i think it's debatable. Resume wise, Pacquiao's is far more impressive, and his wins has turned the boxing world upside-down. 2 years ago, it would have been unthinkable to put Manny in the ring with the likes of Mayweather and Cotto, but one of those fights will come off this year, with both being possibilities depending on their outcomes.

Marquez' though impresses me that both opponents were top rated Lighweights, he moved up and beat them, and they were arguably better conditioned then DLH and Hatton, although their weight class shows to be less impressive compared to Pac's wins.

Oscar was screwed as soon as the bell went. It's a good win dont get me wrong but no way that night a weightdrained Oscar was ever goin to win unless he landed the left hook.

It obviously showed in the ring that Oscar just wasn't the same, but even a day before that fight, a majority of people didn't give Manny much chance.

honestly, i said before the fight i fought Diaz was better than Hatton and this point and the fight did nothing to make me think otherwise. it further reinforced my view in fact

and Oscar at 147 vs Casamayor at 135

            well that's debateable

i'm 100% sure Marquez's duo would have given Pac much more of a fight had he faced them instead

also, the trio of Mayweather, J. Diaz and Casamayor is much tougher than Hatton, De La Hoya and D. Diaz

a few comments to further reality...

oscar may have been weight drained but he's been through how many fights to make that excuse? he's a professional boxer and to say or belittle pac's ability to make him quit is senseless....

the world made that excuse and to demonstrate his ability again he moved to 140 to a UNDEFEATED 140lb considered the best at that weight class...

made him look like he was there to just be ktfo......

there is no way your putting blame to pac that these two professional fighters gave those fights to pac......especially with ALL THE BULL**** that was said.

as fans and as HUGE hypocrits.....don't make excuses.

pac showed domination and showed MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT. enough for the boxing world to consider him in realms of boxings ATG....which he will be an ATG himself.

                +1 for pac

sorry i hate when someone makes comments(excuses) for professional fighters losing and saying a great fighter only won cause of the other persons idiocracy!

                  Oscar should not count.

It comes down to Manny out right embarrassing the lineal champ, vs. Marquez cleaning out the light weight division.

As impressive as that 1 HKO was. I find Marquez’s more impressive. He took on another master counter puncher, and beat him at his game. Only to confront a former 3 time world champion.

It goes to show, that Juan is willing to fight any serious opposition and adapts in a fight.

seems more like a legit reason rather than an excuse to me

yes, it's Oscar's own fault but it takes away from Pac's win by proxy. Oscar De La Hoya was not Oscar De La Hoya that night
