i think thats a good change 4 him. i heard that he is a good trainer i hope he gets miguel on the right path. so far what ive seen and heard from cotto sounds more focused than b4

Cotto's crazy if he goes to 140. Pacquiao would kill him at 140. Cotto was killing himself to make 140 and he's been at 147 a few years now there is no way he could go back comfortably. I wouldn't want to see Cotto going any lower than 145.

Roach said in his blog on ESPN before the Hatton fight that they would possibly fight Cotto at 145.

Cotto-Pacquiao would be an amazing fight. Before I thought Cotto would kill em but man Pac just keeps getting better and better. He looked straight scary good and powerful in the Hatton fight. This would be a great fight.

crap. i've never been a boxer but i think moving up is a lot worse and more of a disadvantage than a 3-7lb lost. i am no boxer but i am a guy who loves to eat and ability to lose 40lbs within 6 months (time period in iraq). and could not feel any better as the lbs shed. for a boxer to cry about a few lbs. i guess i wouldn't be able to comprehend what's he crying about.....

pac can go upto 147 but it's going to be a higher chance of losing...mix it in the middle or atleast 144-145 catchweight. lose 3 lbs and tell me how much power you lose? you *******s 5 lbs of your body weight is water. and at any given time another few lbs of ****. :bukkake: another 1-2 if he ****s it out. HA!

Not it isn't. Moving up is better than moving down. One gives, the other takes away. If you have the option of a higher weight, you can show up at any weight you want to within the max limit. Example: Floyd vs. Oscar was held at 154. Floyd makes weight at 154 but doesn't show up at 154+ by fight-time...he was said to have actually gone back down in weight. Why? because he just stuck with his game-plan to be at his proper fighting weight and didn't need to put on weight which may affect his ability. He has skills, that's what he brought. Oscar blew up in weight and he didn't mind.
