MY son Campbell is eight years old now, I’m settled in my private life after getting engaged to my girlfriend Jennifer.
I’m still a bit of a nutter occasionally — have a pint when I’m not in training, and have a laugh.
That’s never really going to change.
But responsibilities come naturally with having my son to look after. I am a lot more settled now — and I’m definitely nothing like as wild as I have been in years gone by.
I’ve wised up. Campbell is the No 1 on my list.
I make time for him, I make sure I’m with him as much as possible.
Whenever we are together I always make a really big effort to do some nice things with him. After fights I try to take him on holiday and make a fuss of him.
But it’s hard when I go into camp for fights over in America.
All that I do in life is for him... it’s not for Ricky Hatton.
