JMM is still untested at 140. It might not be that quick but I see Manny KOs him in the later rounds.

If yall havent notice that marquez has been fighting in wars and was losing to Juan diaz and Casamayor before he knocked them down. Really Pacquaio has many power punches in his arsonal now since the 2nd fight and at 140 his punches are far powerful compared to 130. Add the much improve defense of pacquaio and you got a far different pacman compare to their last fight. I like marquez and know that he is a truely a great fighter but at 140...i dont think Marquez can hang.Comment

As much as I love Marquez and have him at least 1-1 with Pacman, Pacman is a very gifted fighter, his power and agility are carried up as he jumps divisions. Marquez was always the smaller guy, at this weight I fear Pac may be too much for him. He'd go out on his shield though.Comment

I always felt there is a double standard when the JMM PAC fights are discussed. They always whine about how they think Marquez won both fights and never the other way around just because he is stylistically the better technical boxer puncher and most boxing experts wouldn't want to look foolish picking a rough and tumble whirling dervish boxer like Pac to win a decision against a pure boxer/puncher like JMM. They don't have the balls to call it the way it went down. JMM lost both fights period. The 1st fight was scored a draw because an official made a mistake in scoring and the 2nd fight was decided by a 10-8 round 3 for Pac. I wish JMM would stop keeling over and make this debate easier for the fans. Stop falling down.
One thing I can say for sure is that Manny improves each time out and it's the same in both the JMM fights, while JMM has always been consistent with his style and he is probably to old to learn new tricks.
PAC vs JMM III will be a KO win for Manny at 140. JMM will be 37 - 38 when they do finally get it on for the 3rd time, while Manny will be 30 - 31 and hitting his peak ala Michael Jordan and still learning.
Too fast, too young, too powerful. Manny by KO 1.Comment

The second fight was just last year people...Manny hasn't learned anything new since the rematch. He was a great fighter in the rematch, he's a great fighter now. His main advantage at 140 would be that he's carried the weight VERY well and looks extremely powerful at that weight.
Also, his youth would play more of a factory in a third fight. Marquez still has the world-class skills to pull off come-from-behind wins, but his age is slowly starting to show.
At 140, Pacquiao stops Marquez late. Juan Manuel will last much longer than Hatton did.
At 135 (or even back down at 130), Marquez would find a way to win with no controversy this time. However, I don't see Pacquiao coming down in weight from 140 for a third fight (or any fight.) That's only for Pac's opponents to do, not him.

Yes, he has. The fights with JMM forced Manny to develop his right hand, which is exactly what he's done. His movement, footwork, balance and defense are all better now. The fact that he had trouble with Marquez was a great thing because it forced him to re-think everything. A blessing in disguise, if you will.
Next time, Marquez gets KO'd. Pacquiao is improving while JMM is deteriorating. Add the extra weight and it's a short night for Juan.
