He always knows how to spin a situation to make it look like he is doing more than he really is. I would stop giving him a hard time if he would just fight someone like Cotto or Williams or Clottey. Marquez is really good but I don't think he carries his weight well and loses speed at higher weights. Thats why I think he has a big advantage in this fight but was still able to take the focus off of that by using the whole P4P thing, he is smart for sure but he is a welterweight looking to fight lightweights coming up.
After he beats Marquez he'll take on what could be considered a challenge...if he doesn't bash him all u want...in Floyd's mind jumping up and beating other fighters is taking risks...

its really not about the size mate... its the fighting weight...

the 1 in ur AV... when he fought duran, they were about equal in size but the real middleweight in that fight was hagler...

hagler-hearns? hearns outsizes hagler... but guess what? hearns was the one who came up in weight for that fight...

Floyd fights at 148 when he fights at welterweight. And add the fact that floyds fight small welters and avoided all the big prime welter(shane, paul williams, Cotto). yes he beat Delahoya a middle weight...but he was out of his prime then.

And there is no excuse for hatton fighting welterweight because hatton fought the same weight as he fight at light welterweight in fight night while floyd weight at 146. so basically both pacman and floyd are around the same size.

Pac was always unnaturally huge in the lower weightclasses

personally i think if he'd started boxing at a proper age rather than at like 7 years old he would have settled into the lightweight division where his dimensions seem natural

but he's a great enough fighter that moving up one or two weight-classes above maybe his most comfortable weight is completely reasonable
