What difference do you mean? Cotto got hit cleanly for practically the whole 11 rounds, Mosley didn't and didn't allow Margarito to throw by holding and mauling, this has nothing to do with plaster, you are just holding on to fake assumptions just to justify Cotto's defeat.

So you're calling it for Pacquiao in 7. Over the course of 7 rounds you don't see Cotto landing one of his famous body shots? I'm not saying it will only take one. But each will slow Pacquiao a bit more. Cotto will be his kryptonite. Pacquiao is weak to the body. You're forgetting Cotto won't be lunging in and Pacquiao isn't big enough to cover up his body like Winky Wright. Pacquiao is too small to keep Cotto off of him. Cotto will just upgrade his defense and go to town on Pacquiao when he has opportunities. He is extremely patient. Pacquiao goes down within 10.

Pacquiao will not be able to keep his body away from Cotto for the entire fight. It's as simple as that. Unless Pacquiao can do Cotto exactly how he did Hatton and keep him completely off balance with bombs coming from every direction and can finish the job early Pacquiao is a dead man.

Pacquiao will eventually be hit to the body by Cotto and regardless of how much they tenderize him with those sticks nothing will prepare him for such a calculated and deadly punch like Cottos body attack. Especially if its a left hook to the body.

Cotto wasn't really affected by the speed of Zab Judah or Malignaggi. Now I'm not compariing either of those two to Pacquiao but Cottos jab is one of the best at WW and I don't think he would find it all that difficult to keep Pacquiao at bay.

The amount of running around the ring Pacquiao will have to do to keep Cotto from landing as accurately as he usually does will put a dent in his stamina. I have no doubts about that at all. Between how hard he will be getting hit and how much running and evasive manuevers he will have to utilize I think Cotto will eventually be able to walk him down like he does everyone else.

Cotto has a very high connect percentage usually.

I don't see Manny Pacquiao beating him.

Sure Freddie Roach is great at exploiting flaws and making near perfect game plans. But Cotto is too big of a mountain for Pacquiao to climb.

...there was big debate on here about Cotto being given the decision over Mosley, that he really didn't deserve it...so that win is questionable at best...the main reason that Cotto couldn't beat Margaritto is that he's a punk and Margaritto saw this in the fight, so he made Cotto quit...Mosley isn't a punk and Margaritto saw it and so he had no hope...a lot of boxing is mental and when everytime you hit someone (like when Margaritto hit Cotto) they "wince", it inspires you, even when they might be outclassing you...because you know eventually you will make them not want to fight anymore...that's the difference between the 2 fights, Cotto is a punk and Mosley isn't...and Margaritto knew it...
