    paul williams v. mayweather jr?

hey guys, its my first thread here. now assuming PBF gets JMM done, isnt it more practical for him to go up and fight paul williams? i mean he should quit ducking people out there dont he?

and what good is it for the sport if mayweather jr beats pac? that pac is too small? what good will it do if pac beats pbf? another "past his prime", dehydrated scenario?

i mean paul williams has what it takes to make exciting fights.if that doesnt happen, pw vs cotto perhaps?

seriously i dont want to watch another mayweather track and field contest. i mean im a fight fan, i wanna see people fight and running inside the ring is not fun to watch.

if pbf thinks he really is the king he should do what pac is doing, go up in weight and stop ducking people along the way (cotto, mosley, too bad margarito's not there anymore).

Paul Williams doesnt have a big fanbase which means not enough money coming in from the fight. PBF is about money not securing his name in the sport. I love both boxers to death but in the end, I dont even think the right amount of money will make PBF wanna fight Paul Williams... that would be smart on his behalf. I don't think anyone at 147 has the guts to do it... maybe Shane Mosley, but I don't think its a big enough fight for him either. Paul Williams needs to fight some more big names so he can build a better fanbase. I think he's one of the top 5 fighters today.

To his credit, none of the other Welters would fight Williams save Quintana, (who probably still thinks the current version is the same fighter he beat). He's pretty much blacklisted by the promoters managing welters, and Shane already said no, bad style match up. Let's not lay this one just at the feet of Floyd.

Mayweather needs to get to fighting Shane and Cotto or offically move down to 140 if he thinks he's too small.

Floyd will never risk his 0 without money involve. Also I rather watch Floyd vs Pacquaio than a boring Floyd potshotting paul williams for 12 rounds because that is the only way floyd can beat him.

This fight will never happen, but it would be a pick-em bout.
