Pac VS JMM 2, Your honest unbiased opinion who do you think really won.

Pacquiao won the 2nd fight. I had it 7 rounds to 5, 115-112 Pac. Not being biased considering i'm mexican and i was rooting for Marquez in this fight. Like ive mentioned before this is actually the fight that finally made me a huge pac fan. I watched at my godfather's house with like at 20 other mexican family and friends and nobody had a problem with the decision just about all of us had Pac winning actually except my godfather actually and a friend who is a HUGE Marquez fan. Although he doesnt cry robbery like some morons here! To be honest there were so many close rounds that it could have gone either way but i just thought manny's took this because of his power. I had Pac winning the first fight as well so i dont see a 3rd fight as necessary but it would be great for boxing if it happened! .

I cant understand how people fail to understand that people including judges have certain preferences. I had it 114-113 from day one same as Tom Miller.

but on a side note, that is a weak to say that a fighter out landed another only because he cut him with a punch, there for not being able to punch as much because the cut, again caused by the oppositions punch. so in a way manny could make an excuse "you only outlanded me because you socked me so hard that you cut my eye up" or marquez could say "you only beat me because you knocked my ass down"

i dont think he meant it as an excuse, i think he just meant the numbers would have probably have been almost even if it werent for that Pac being cut in the eye. Almost every round was even in punche landed so its farily safe to assume the same would have happened in that round if it werent for Marquez brilliant punch. the amount of punches landed in the end arent that great of an indication of how close the fight was IMO

Those numbers don't prove anything.

All it proves is that Marquez out-boxed Pacquiao and hit him far more times than he got it.

You should ask the judges about that, not me.

Did you score the 3rd round 10-7? JMM held on to the ropes when Pac tagged him. That should have been called a knockdown.

To be fair with you, no, i scored it a 10-9. The reason is, JMM might throw more punches but did't really get Pac in trouble. Also, i was wrong when Pac when i said Pac throw nothing, he did throw some punches. It wasn't a 1 sided beat down. Pac was standing his ground even though he was getting hit. The punches were more counter than JMM attacking. And like the rest of the fight, Pac was going forward while JMM was backing. So, my 10-9 score on that round. To me(just my opinion), is not a 10-8 scorecard for JMM.


Because an A fighter landed more than the B fighter in the final stats, it doesn's mean the A fighter landed more in every round. It just means that was his total output. Let say A fighter in 7 rounds landed an average of 20 punches he landed while B fighter landed an average of 2 punches. While the B fighter in 5 rounds landed 32 punches while A fighter landed 2 punches. The A fighter landed a total of 154 punches while the B fighter had 170 punches landed. Now since A fighter landed more than the B fighter in 7 rounds, that means he won those rounds. While B did the same thing in 5 rounds. So it was 7-5 rounds and a win for the A fighter. But since some of you like to point out the punch stats to declare the winner, does that mean B fighter should have won the fight due to him landing more that the A fighter.

In a closed fight, final stats does not mean ****.
