First minute he did okay, but he still left his hands low and didn't move his head... it just took Manny a minute to start capitalizing on it.Comment

You only have to look at Meldrick Taylor after the Chavez fight, yea Taylor should of won the fight, but his career was ruined after that fight. If you make a career of getting drilled in your dome eventually its gonna catch up.Long drawn out fights are much worse for your brain than 2 rounders.Again see Taylor. Mayweather probably started Hattons downturn and Pac just amplified it.If he wants to fight and gets regular cat scans thats his choice. He should never fight another southpaw again.Comment

People forget that Pac retired Oscar and made him look an amateur. The only difference between Hatton and Oscar is that Hatton came to fight whereas Oscar was prepared to stand off Pac so lasted longer. If Oscar came forward like Hatton he would've been knocked out too.Comment

Here's what some people fail to realize, usually because it's not their lives on the line: Being knocked out as violently as he was against Pacquiao is life-altering. The man hit his head very hard on the floor and might have suffered a concussion (I wouldn't be surprised but I haven't heard anything).
His two losses to Mayweather and Pacquiao were finalizing endings, the kind that take a lot out of a fighter.
On top of that, he has shown that he has only one style of fighting and it's one that leaves him in very vulnerable defensively. He's going to keep getting hit and taking two to land one and that just isn't the kind of fighter who should continue.
If he continues to campaign at 140, he'll find himself in a division with sharpshooting ****ers like Timothy Bradley, Victor Ortiz and Kendall Holt; guys who present a very high rate of risk and little compensation.
Hatton has a target on his back and every fighter under the sky is going to be out to cash in on him. He isn't a Roy Jones type of fighter who can run and move, he's going to get KO'ed the next time he fights another big puncher.Comment
