Hatton just walks towards Pac with zero head movement zero defense, he holds his gloves at his chest or his waist, has absolutely zero defense, he gets hit clean by Pac at WILL, Pac lands about 65% of his power punches and constantly tags him with right hooks. Right hook after right hook hits Hatton's defenseless head clean until Pac finally unleashes the straight left and KTFO him.
Hatton was hurt twice before the first KD...

Thanks for the playbook on the fight.
Yeah, it's a shame Hatton didn't come in with a better plan than what he did. He actually has the toolbox to beat Pacman (albeit a 2/1 shot), but I wondered whether he'd try and employ it. Guess I know the answer to that now.Comment

yet you were predicting a Hatton win?
Morales 1, (easy boxing clinic he did to pac)
Marquez 1 and 2. (draw and SD loss, others have beaten Marquez by UD, and Diaz just had Marquez on ***** street for 5 rounds)
The only prime fighters Pac has faced (or "just" washed up slightly in the case of Morales) aside from the unprepared Barrera 1.
Hatton is bigger, stronger, fresher, and has a better trainer than all of those boxers. It will be too much for Pacquiao to overcome. He's too adjusted to fighting bums or shot fighters.
Doesn't anyone fight it VERY weird that the higher up he moves the easier his fights have become. If every boxer could be spoon fed bums and zombie fighters the way Pac is, we'd have about 20 p4p1 candidates. Marquez was the only decent fighter he's faced in years, and most people thought he lost. The more he moves up in weight the worst his competition gets. Hatton sticks out because he's hungry, has a fantastic trainer, in shape, in his prime weight, but more importantly NOT drained to ****, and not a senior citizen. This is too much for Pacquiao to handle and why I predict he will be defeated.
There are PLENTY of boxers who can go a draw and a SD controversial win over Marquez while beating that bum Diaz and corpse DLH. Nothing special at all. It's just Pac had Arum and Roach securing him these fights while other fighters get the back door.
The fraud express is about to crash on May 2nd!
please feel free to shut da **** upComment

If you watch in the first round,
When the clock is around 1:30 remaining, Hatton gets caught by a short right hook, then seems to buckle slightly and then grab Pacquiao.
Then, around 1:01 remaining, Pac lands a left hand which seems to leave Hattons legs a bit shakey. Just after this is when the first KD happened.
Just something I hadn't noticed anyone else say..Comment

I didn't buy the PPV, so I can't speak that intelligently on this, but my thought before fight-night was that Hatton only had a chance if he got inside quick and stayed there, inside Pacman's range (he seems to need room to throw those bombs). I'm guessing he did pretty much the opposite. Can you give me a quick synopsis if the fight?
second round hatton was in alot of trouble again, but then sort of looked to be finding his senses again as he steamed forward and threw a few punches but then manny landed that lovely left and...well yeah that was itLast edited by RightCross94; 05-04-2009, 06:53 PM.Comment
