With every Pacman win, I am even more impressed with Marquez. Which is why I am extremely happy Floyd is fighting Marquez first. If he were to fight Manny first JMM would be left out and its not fair. Pac,Floyd, and Marquez make up 1,2,3 pound for pound fighters in the world. So lets embrace the fact that we are going to get to see the three best fighters in the world fight each other. This has never happened before in my lifetime and we are lucky that the top 3 fighters in the world are all close enough in weight to fight each other.
Now I know some say they want Floyd against Cotto or a WW but I feel Floyd has the speed advantage against 147 and up, but against Pac and Marquez not so much. I feel Manny and Marquez would beat Cotto as well. I think they both carry there weight and Pac for sure is better at 140 than he is at any other weight. The same may be true for Marquez.
Floyd is finally going to be fighting guys who are great boxers. Cotto aint great, Margarito aint great, Clottey aint great. There big but Floyd could outbox these guys. Marquez and Pac are great. And he could loose to either one especially after a layoff. These are extremely hard fights for Floyd and you saw how Zab was hitting him flush until he got tired. These guys are going to be able to hit Floyd easier than anyone else in boxing.
