He made excuses to not fight Margarito, Cotto and Shane. All we heard from the stans back then was, "he'll fight them at some point".

I believe JMM would be a lot tougher than Floyd's last 2 fights (Hoya and Hatton). JMM and Pac are just on a higher level as fighters. However, I don't like this fight for JMM because he's at an obvious disadvantage here, Floyd being a naturally bigger guy at 147 and nearer his prime. It's the principle or the lack thereof that is bugging me. Floyd should be calling out the top legit welters out there, specifically Mosley and Cotto, or pick another top contender in his division as a tuneup if he needs it, not a lightweight.

I read somewhere him saying "I won't be beaten by a smaller man" like it was something he can be proud of...lol. Oh thanks for stating the OBVIOUS Floyd. That's just wrong. Well at least we can gauge how well he does against one of Pac's toughest opponents, but I think Pac has improved tremendously since the last time he met JMM. I won't deny that I want to see how this will pan out.
