    2. It'll be his 3rd lineal title. There was no clear champion at 130 and Corrales willingly gave up his high ranking in an effort to move to lightweight before he fought Mayweather. Don't believe me? He never got The Ring lineal belt at 130. Castillo at 135 and Baldomir at 147 are his 2 current lineal titles that he has.
hernendez was the lineal champ and floyd beat him....

i know he didn't have a ring belt at 130. (though he should have by beating diego)

i know manny didn't have the ring at 112 but his lineal can be traced back to chatchai sasakul who beat the russian dude yuri abkachov or something.

was genaro considered a lineal champion?

It's better to show up "healthy" and get the win instead of taking such a chance he shows up "Flat/drained" and loses.

After all, who at 140 actually shows up for a fight at 140 so it isn't really a 140 pound bout anyway.

Let's just have these fighters show up healthy and let the best Man Win.

This weight division stuff is b.s. until fighters show up by the division weight by fight-time...the actual fighting weight.

Pac was 148 = 1 pound over WW/147. Floyd was around the same before he left when active at WW.
