About Mayweather And Supposed Ducking

I notice a lot of people here talk about how Mayweather ducks real welterweights for instance Paul Williams. A few people name Williams is one of the guys Mayweather should be fighting and then talk about how Mayweather-Marquez is a ridiculous fight due to being a mismatch. This is the Williams who will most likely be fighting at Light Heavyweight in about a year and you say fighting Marquez is cherrypicking. Also Paul Williams a few weeks ago called out Shane Mosley. Shane did a public interview saying he wouldn't fight Williams as financially it weren't good for him. Imagine if Mayweather said this. Yet there is no hate for Shane for not fighting Williams. I don't agree with a lot of what Mayweather does and I hope he fights Pac, Cotto etc but the double standards on this forum are insane.

and Floyd Mayweather beat them both. before Miguel Cotto even came to the welterweight division.

In 2006
Miguel Cotto was fighting
Ricardo Torres at 140
Gianluca Branco at 140
Paul Malignaggi at 140
Carlos Quintana at 147 first fight.
[By that Time Floyd Already beat Carlos and Zab and won the lineal WW championship.]

So When do you think Mayweather vs. Cotto should have happen?

Mayweather fought de la hoya in the biggest selling fight and boxing history
and then Mayweather fought and destroyed Undefeated Ricky Hatton and highest grossing non-heavyweight fight not involving de la hoya.

2006 : Cotto fighting at Jr. WW while Floyd was fighting Welterweights
2007: Floyd was Fighting Jr. Middleweights and making history. and defeating another top undefeated fighter.
