Dawson-Johnson was a close, exciting contest where Dawson had to dig down deep to defeat one of the sports toughest competitors. Dawson-Tarver was a sleep induced contest and Tarver was about as interested in fighting as the Philadelphia Eagles were in resigning Terrell Owens when the Cowboys released him.

So Dawson has a problem here since it will be difficult to for him to look better than what he did the first time around and if people remember the first fight then they will watch another program unless the alternative is a re-run of the last 10 years weather forecasts.

I like Dawson and I think he can be quite the star one day and I've always disliked old Milk Dud head, but for some reason I have a really strong gut feeling telling me Tarver is going to win this fight. Now I could be very wrong and mistaking bad indigestion for a "gut feeling," so we'll see...

Dawson could of done much more damage to Tarver in the first fight, but after realizing Tarver couldn't really do anything to him, Dawson toyed with him. This time Dawson will go for the knock him out and not allow Tarver any time to rest, it will just be a beating.

I hope Dawson fights Glen Johnson after this, in which he should.
