If Paul Williams beats Mayweather Jr.

Just a simple Question, lets pretend Paul Williams fights Floyd Mayweather and wins.

Will Paul Williams be bigger than Floyd Mayweather if he does beat him? Yes or No? Please feel free to elaborate why. It might seem like a dumb question, but its an answer I feel others need to understand.

I forgot to add will Paul Williamsl be seen as the better fighter even if Mayweather fights him at 154 or 160?

Bigger popularity wise? No..but his resume would take a major leap.

No way! A big win makes you overnight celebrity but it doesn't show your real value.

The way Paul has been moving up and down, first of all.... Williams has no business fighting at no less than 160 but by some freak of nature, he has been able to fight in 3 different weight classes and its not like he has not been able to do this in the past. Just look how he has bounced up and down during his career, even early on. Paul Williams will mop Floyd because Floyd is not a pressure fighter and the only reason Quintana beat him was because he pressured Williams but Williams will never let that happen again any time soon, he learned his lesson and has become more aggresive than ever. I don't see what it is that Floyd could do to beat Williams, but the fight would never happen and it shouldnt but, if Williams starts campiagning in the welter weight division again, every one in that division is in trouble including ma' boy Cotto. Pual is young and is getting better. Floyd is getting old and is slipping. If Hatton was able to hit Floyd, and if ODLH was able to lump Floyd up, I dont see how a man who throws 100 punches per round can lose. Floyd would have to grow some balls and have some trouble free hands to pull off a Sugar Ray Leonard win like the one he pulled off against Hearns. Floyd is no Sugar Ray.

Mayweather will never....AND THE ROCK MEANS NEVER...get in the ring w/ Williams.
Yes he is bigger and he would dominate Mayweather with ease.
He wouldnt get any credit for it because people will say he is too big for Floyd.
