A fighter no matter what size should be able to execute the same combo, unless that person is just uncoordinated as hell. Plus so what if they are considered "cheap shots" it's still not against the rules and plus I've seen a whole lot of Thai kickboxing fights brought over by my former kru straight from Thailand and they throw kicks to the thighs with each other as often as Shaquille O' Neal dunks on everybody else. I don't know I love them kicks to the thighs though, especially for guys in the streets who have no clue what I'm about to deliver them ; )
I'll say it again, I don't see the big guys deliver 2-kick combos i love seeing here being executed by the smaller guys. If you're a kickboxer you know what I'm talking about.

I've seen that clip also, very nasty, made me cringe like a mofo!

what should be said is that europeans fighters , mainly the dutch , they brought boxing to the table and their effectiveness wuth the fists made them champions against the thai.

when i train in thaiboxing , i mainly use my fists and apply pressure on the guys , most of the time the pressure is too much they have no time to kick.

during grabs i use knees , its effective. i think fists are the main weapon to master , no matter what kind of boxing(thai , full contact , french boxing) you pratice.

talkin about dekkers , he isnt fighting anymore. and BOTHA was caught in his firsts K1 fights , but he just KOed JEROME LEBANNER with a right hand in his last fight.
