What happened between Senior and Hatton in the Dressing Room?

I read an article today said that Hatton and Floyd were arguing in the locker room prior to the fight. Did anyone read or hear about it and know what was going on prior to possibly the biggest fight of the year? ....Lefty

It's all unconfirmed rumor at this point. Lee Beard denies anything happened and says they were all laughing and joking prior to leaving the locker room. I guess we'll know more later.

I didn't hear about that, I know that Mayweather Sr. wasn't with him in the locker rooms after the fight and that he didn't accompany Hatton to the hospital, the article I read said that Mayweather didn't seem to have a care in the world that Hatton had just gotten brutally knocked out and was signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. It's pretty safe to say that their relationship was not good leading into the fight.

No excuse needed. Hatton looked great in training. Different story when that little terror called Pac is in front of you throwing punches from every angle.

Here is th elink to the story

              Here is the story fellas.....

LAS VEGAS - All along, Manny Pacquiao said there was nothing personal between him and Ricky Hatton, that their match at the MGM Grand was merely entertainment, regardless of the outcome.

Sure there had been rancor between the two trainers, Floyd Mayweather Sr. on Hatton's side and Freddie Roach on Pacquiao's. But Pacquiao stayed above the fray, maintaining that it was just business.

Pacquiao took care of his business in the most expeditious fashion on Saturday night, knocking out Hatton at 2:59 of the second round with a left cross to the chin that left the British brawler motionless on the canvas for several scary minutes.

There was a report on Yahoo.com on Friday that there was friction between Mayweather and Hatton. There was complete silence between the fighter and the trainer in the locker room leading up to the junior welterweight fight on Saturday night, according to someone in Hatton's dressing room. Mayweather said there was no discord, but he did say that Hatton didn't listen to his instructions between the first and second rounds.

Bob Arum of Top Rank, Pacquiao's promoter, said they will wait until after the Miguel Cotto-Joshua Clottey welterweight fight at Madison Square Garden on June 13 to decide the next fight for Pacquiao.

Lurking on the horizon is a major showdown between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., who announced a few hours before Pacquiao demolished Hatton that he was ending his year-long retirement to fight Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand on July 18. It would be a mega fight, matching the current No. 1 pound-for-pound king with the previous ruler. Both men have victories over Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya on their resumes.

When asked how he thought his son, Floyd, Jr., would do against Pacquiao, Mayweather said, "He'll whoop his (butt)."

That is business for another day. Whatever the outcome for Pacquiao in that fight, rest assured it won't be personal.

I read this today and thought to myself maybe thats why Hatton seemed like he was annoyed prior to the fight and didn't listen to a word in the corner in between rounds. Well that and the fact his bell was ringing from the right hook he took in the first....Lefty

Floyd, Sr. was late to the dressing room apparently, maybe they had a little argument about that but they were probably fine 5 minutes after.

A lot of things happened.Lee Beard was said to be in charge of training,Floyd Senior was told he was only a consultant and not the trainer. He would only be consulted when Hatton needed him.Hatton went all the way to try and prove he could beat Pacquiao without Mayweather's assistance. He went into the ring, got his butt kicked and went back to the corner.

The whole training camp was in shambles, power struggle.Hatton has these idiots around him who always sing hallelua to him, telling him how tough he is.When Floyd came along,he told Hatton to change and all hell broke lose.It was hard for Hatton to take instructions from a blackman who was a foreigner as well,he listened to his own lads from the pub and got a smoked ass in return.
