I concur that this would be an exciting fight that either man could win, but not with ease on both sides.

    Yeah great win by Pacquiao...

It goes two ways, Pacquiao hasn't faced anyone the same caliber as Mayweather, and I don't think Floyd has fought a fighter the same caliber as Pacquiao. It would be a great fight that must happen.

Of course Pacquiao has a chance of beating Mayweather, but all I am saying is despite how great Manny's win was, Hattons defense was terrible... he will find Floyd A LOT harder to hit... that's all I am saying. I think in my opinion Floyd would win, but not with ease... it would be a close fight but I think Floyd's Boxing skills, defense, counter punching and ring intelligence would win him the fight, whether by decision or late TKO.

Pacquiao had a great win though, can't take anything away from him.

Zab Judah 37(25) 12 by decision
Manny Pacquiao 49(37) 12 by decision

KO-ratio wise, they look the same to me so those who say Pacquiao is stronger are basing that on absolutely nothing.
Zab has more explosive power and he is fast as hell.
Manny Pacquiao is the better fighter all-around but for the 6 rounds that Judah can fight, he's a hand full for anybody.

Mayweather probably has never fought anyone like Pacquiao, just like Pacquiao has never fought anyone ike Mayweather.

Difference is, Pacquiao has losses to lesser opponents and a past prime Morales. Mayweather has no losses. Period.

No because pac is as fast or faster. We dont know how pbf would look like now after the time off. He has never fought anyone as good as pac in their prime period.

Comparing Marquez to Mayweather is like comparing an Apple to an Orange. Come on now, let's not get too excited here.

The question was about Floyd, being many individuals on this site make it seem as if nobody could beat him. I would agree Manny has never faced anyone with the defense Floyd possess. But will that be enough to win a fight against Pacquiao? It's a very interesting scenario between the two.

Now that we have seen Floyd's last 2 opponents thrashed by Manny Pacquiao in much quicker and more exciting fashion and how much better Pacquiao has become overall, my argument is why anyone would think Mayweather beats someone like Pacquiao with ease?

In reality, and many say, Jose Luis Castillo beat PBF. He's probably the only one and the other one that came close was DLH.
