Its super long but I think it flows and I tried to be really unbiased. I just watched the Pac-Hatton fight. 1st off, Pac is a certified beast. I said all along that he has the best body Ive ever seen in boxing. He's built like a rock evenly from head to toe and that helps lead him to fight like a stealth in the ring. He's a weapon right now and hardly anyone can match it P4P. He has crazy speed, power, explosivness, ever growing boxing skills, improving defense, and worst of all he's Southpaw. I talk about it all the time because I dont think others talk about it nearly enough. Being a Southpaw is a super huge advantage in boxing. Most guys just arent use to seeing it. Then you have 2 freaks like Pac & Williams who are going to be so hard to beat no matter what, when you add that Southpaw quality to them it just makes them darn near unbeatable. Hatton never had a chance. 1st off, in the ring Pac actually looked like the bigger man or atleast had the better and stronger body. In every clinch Pac outmuscled Hatton. Hatton didnt help himself by keeping his hands low but sometimes they were just low because Hatton didnt think that he could be hit at that time and that goes back to the Southpaw thing. Hatton struggled with other Southpaws and he was so not ready for Pac. You could tell that he had no idea how to attack him and on that KO, he never even saw the left at all.
Because of the Southpaw style and his other attributes I think Pac kills everyone in the 140 division. He's prime & deadly right now. I think he even wouldve beat the 140 pound Cotto and I give him a great chance against any top WW right now. I think he owns even a prime Margarito with plaster. No way Margarito could stay with him and thats why I think Roach use to single him out among all the other WW's when it came to Pac. He's way to slow and sloppy. Anyone who thinks a Pac-Floyd fight at 144 isnt fair is crazy. Pac looks bigger & stronger then Floyd. Dont give me that crap about where he started. Its about how you carry the weight and he carries it great. Infact, he carries it better then Floyd. He looks better phyicaly at those weights and carries his speed way better then Floyd has. I still think Floyd beats him but there is no way you can call him even a tenth of a ***** for that fight. Size wise he is on par if not physcially better then Floyd. Pac has mastered his style and he can throw the left cross body. Its like Foreman use to say, you relax against Southpaws because you think your out of range but your not. You do moves that would put you out of range against a righty but a Southpaw can still hit you flush. Thats what happened to MAB on that knock down in there 1st fight.
Unlike Pac's other opponents, Floyd will bring the D. When you think about Hatton, Oscar, Diaz, JMM, EM, and so on, these guys have no D. Floyd will fight Pac with the Winky D like he did to Zab once he figured him out. He will be cautious just like he was against Zab because he still is smart enough to respect the fact that if he messes up then he could get caught with a blind left that will hurt him. He doesnt worry about that against righties but you have to respect Southpaws with power. I honestly beleive that despite Pac's fast hands, power, & size, that Floyd will try to slowly walk him down. He's done that in every fight with Southpaws and I dont think he beleives that Pac can fight going backwards. Many beleive that but they cant get him to go backwards unless he wants to himself. Floyd wants to force hi to. I think Pac will do very solid the first 3 rounds or so and then Floyd will take over the rest of the fight. You will see Pac going backwards. He will still be throwing a good deal and using his speed & power but Floyd will be blocking alot of them with the high guard and countering back with his left to the body and his straight right which is the best in the business. I think he wins by late stoppage.
Speaking of Floyd, every other site I go to thinks that this fight with JMM is a great fight. This is the only site that totally rips it. Fans on other sites think that JMM can beat him. Alot of them do. Half the people who think Floyd will win are now changing there mind after seeing what Pac did to Oscar & Hatton. Knowing that JMM went 24 tough rounds with him and just KO Diaz & Casamayor at LW who will probably not be stopped by anyone else in there careers. Either way I want to say this. I didnt think Hatton looked that bad. I didnt think Margarito looked that bad against Mosley either. Its just that Mosley was the worst matchup in the world for him and Pac is the worst matchup in the world for Hatton. I definatly wouldnt retire if I was him without trying myself against a top guy. I could see him still beating alot of other guys. Pac was just brutal for him from the jump. It also doesnt mean that these guys suck every time they lose. We as fans have to get away from that because its killing boxing. If you lose one fight then your legacy takes a big hit. We cant do that. The fact is that Hatton lost to the 2 best guys in boxing but has basically killed everyone else and has had a great career. If JMM loses then he's still a beast and I wouldnt be ready to say that he's done. Someone will definatly lose when Floyd fights Pac but the loser will still be great, its just that someone has to lose obviously.
I wish Floyd would fight Pac now so I could get paid. Most people think that Pac will beat Floyd now and he would no doubt be an underdog but I think that might change if Floyd kills JMM but it shouldnt. I think time will make some forget slightly about that Pac-Hatton fight but it shouldnt. Pac is getting better every fight and is a monster right now. Definatly and ATG. I still think he may fight someone between now and his fight with Floyd just to stay fresh. Not against a monster but just to stay sharp. Someone like a Torres or something who he would kill because of his skill. As for the P4P stuff, I dont really care about that. Right now I would call Pac #1 and JMM #2 while Floyd is unranked. If he beats JMM then I would push him right back up to #2. If you dont then you have to be a hater because its not like he's lost and you cant just spit on the things he's done. Then we will have #1 vs #2 or #1 vs #1 or #1 vs former #1. Either way its a great match. Pac is truly the boxing version of Bruce Lee right now though. His body, speed, power, and Southpaw style is unmatched and he's going to be hard to beat. Lets all hope for boxing's sake that he fights Floyd and they have the biggest grossing fight ever and it lives up to the hype which I think it will because I honestly beleive that Floyd will try to come at JMM & Pac and try to walk them down instead of moving & pot shotting like he does against bigger guys
