I dont think Pacquiao should fight Cotto unless it's for a welterweight belt. It'd be a great fight and a good win for Pacquiao...but it would only be as relevant as the delahoya win.

I think it should be Mosley vs Cotto 2 with the winner facing the winner of Pacquiao vs Floyd/JMM for the lineal or maybe by that time undisputed welterweight championship. It would be much more meaningful then regardless of what matchup is made or who is the ultimate winner in the 6man tourney

A fighter of Pacquiao's level will fight who he wants, No promoter is going to decide who he fight period. So if he fights Cotto its cause he wanted to, if its Mayweather its cause he wanted too.

I'd actually like to see Floyd take 2 fights before this happens. He should definitely go for Mosley first if July 18 goes as it should.

Why would you want that fight? It makes no sense. I could see it because of Mosley's age and he doesnt have a fight right now but it would still make way more sense for Floyd to fight Pac 1st. He's already going to be lower for the JMM fight. He can just fight Pac and then move up to fight Mosley. The Pac fight will also be much bigger so Floyd could get the fame and make the Mosley fight that much bigger

I think the purse could be a major problem e****ally if Floyd doesnt draw well against JMM which is a strong possibility but I have this feeling that in the end there going to finalize the purse on a bet. By that I mean I could see them going like 42.5% apeice and the final 15% goes to the winner
