ok so i was watching it again tonight and if u notice after pac ko hatton buboy lift him up. then suddenly an hbo crew kinda yelled at pacquiao pointing to the corner signaling to pray. pacquiao looked shocked thinking "oh **** i forgot" watch it guys you'll know what i mean. was everything scripted that somebody has to tell manny to pray after every win? hmmmmm fishy

Manny would have prayed regardless. HBO should have let Manny celebrate and HBO should have just waited until Manny did it on his own. I don't know why HBO felt it was so important to get that shot RIGHT THEN RIGHT NOW. They did not even use that piece and the funny thing is, that piece of footage was flashed in by mistake when they cut to Hatton on the ground and then they cut to Hatton's family, you can see a FLASH of Manny Pacquiao on his knees in the corner praying but it was so fast, no one saw it, I only seen this because I was editing the video last night and I was going thru it frame by frame. Does anyone want me to show it in SLOW Motion?

But I agree, HBO should not be telling anyone to pray until that person feels led to pray. Just not genuine. For me it was no big deal, I understand it but I don't agree with it.

This is the first PPV watched with my girl (she is White)after convincing her that it would be fun and exiting, we invited my family (we are Mexican) and it was all good and fun until Ricky blew it for me and now my girl said she will never watch boxing with me again, Her words "it looked like He was dead and his face looked like a car smashed it sideways"

I worked hard on this one, showed her some clips of the Morales vs Pac fight and JMM vs PAC, and she was for it..... now Im hoping to get her back to it by suggesting we only watch fights involving Puertoriquenos, Mexicanos, Philipinos and USAmericans (exept for delahoya)

Why the hell do you want to watch boxing with your girl in the fist place. Enjoy your free time, I hate having to explain **** during sports or having to reject advances for sex when they get bored of the game/match.

I thought it was distastefull that Pac was celebrating when Hatton was obviously in a bad situation and could have been in a really bad way. Maybe someone was just saying to wait to celebrate.
In the UK we have the unwritten rule of not celebrating when you may have just killed a man. maybe pinoys kill people all the time??

damn.. how ****** can one guy be. the staff was asking pac to get down cause one of his seconds picked him up. if you have been watching boxing (i doubt the TS has) the staff usually tells boxers to get down if they celebrate after a bout. since the threadstarter obviously just watch pac fights, there's another instance where pac was told by the staff to get down when he knocked out morales and climbed the ropes at the corner to celebrate.

well it is kinda weird the way the hbo guy orders manny to get down. As if he's breaking protocol or an agreement, or a script.
As if there were some prior agreements, i mean hatton just got ko'd yet that dude instantly felt the need to order pacman do not celebrate!, floyd jumped all over the ring and that wasnt a problem.

They didnt tell him to pray, just to get down. Hatton was obviously in trouble and they needed the ring to be as calm as possible for Hatton to recieve the right medical attention.

Nothing suggests they were telling him to pray.
