Because I'm not so sure pacquiao belongs at 147, I think that's pushing it a bit.

As for my reasoning at 140, I just think pacquiao is more of a complete fighter than floyd. Floyd is great and all, but he's no pacquiao. Floyd is going to have to fight to win this fight, and that's not his style, he's used to being able to sit back and counter. Someone who will force floyd to fight, plus has just as fast hands if not faster and can hit harder and can take floyd's best shots, man I just don't think floyd can hang with that right now.

We'll have a better idea come July 18th. Let's see how Floyd looks then.

If he tries to get too brave he gets KTFO. Now if he keeps moving pot shoting and couter punching with accuracy, but he aint KOing Pacquiao.

He never puts himself in a position to KO people. if he does, if defense diminish and against guy like Cotto, pacquiao,ect,ect, who have great offensive arsenals, that means he gets KTFO.

Pacquiao has to land about 20 power punches over the first 3 rounds to have a chance. He has to do enough damage to make Floyd realize it's going to be a war. Even then, it's so hard to give Pacquiao a chance. Floyd adapts to everything in the ring, and Pacquiao has never shown an ability to adapt during a fight. I think Floyd is going to counter the **** out of him and stop Pacquiao late.

I co-sign. Floyd is likely to win, but after tonight Manny will force floyd to fight. Put Pac in for Castillo in those 2 fights he had with floyd and you've got yourself a fight where both guys are live. again mayweather should win, but im convinced at 140 he'll have to earn it the hard way. I can also see Pac winning a UD on activity. Pac gets faster & more accurate as the fight goes on. Defensively its going to be a huge challenge for floyd to adapt to ones work rate. can may counter pac with ease? Can pac counter may? pac might even have a handspeed edge. His ko of hatton which may will see will be in mayweathers head. how can it not? may force floyd differently than had pac won a closely tested ud or something.

Bottom line, Pac is live and he'll make it a good fight thats all i can ask.

Floyd weighing anything less then 147...is a monster...Pac has really no chance.

floyd was much better at 140 than he was at 147 imo. if he fights like he did against gattti, floy will never lose

Floyd has had problems against southpaws, the last 2 southpaws he faced were Judah and Corley, he was hurt and staggered by Corley and was knocked down by Judah.

If southpaws Zab "chicken dancing bum" Judah and Corley can knockdown and hurt Floyd...just imagine what Pacquiao will do to him!!

Pacquiao is one of the greatest southpaws of all time, he has the handspeed, accuracy and power to crack Floyd's chin, hurt him bad and knock him out.

Possible, but those are kind of bad fights since Corley won exactly one round of that fight and Judah as is his habit faded late.

Floyd figured them out fairly early.

The longer it goes, the more it favors Floyd.
