Have you watched both version of the fight? HBO and Setanta?

I like watching both versions or if there are more versions than one, I like watching them because they vary to a certain degree.
1.-Being they have different announcers. duh
2.-The footage is not always the same, what is shown in between rounds can be different footage of a corner or best part of a round replay and so on.
Anyway...
I can't believe how similar the annoucing was but with little twists here and there. One team describes it as a Tsunami and the other network team describes it as a Typhoon. And the similarities just go on and on. I was shocked at how much that was being said was the same but in different words.

I didn't like the HBO guys last ngiht. They weren't very enthusiastic when Hatton got knocked down or out. I think its because we've seen almost everything this year so far in terms of surprising finishes.

I thought the British announcers were very fair and very unbaised. They were of course louder than the HBO team. I think both Merchant and Steward are as dull as watching paint dry. If it wernt for Lampley, there would be no enthusiasm coming from HBO.

If you notice when ever I make a video clip, you will never hear me add anything said by Emmanuel Stewart or you will hardly ever hear anything added from Merchant. All my clips have the voice of Lampley only and that is for an obvious reason of course Manny and Larry suck. I do love when Larry Merchant picks on Floyd though :clap:

I watched the Sky Box Office version last night and downloaded the HBO version today, i wish we got HBO in britain, so much better IMO , the SBO commentator couldn't even say Pac's name properly which p*ssed me off after a while in the build up lol.

Oh was it SKY that I was watching? Sorry, I always thought they were the same. Thanks for correcting me. So the little bald man Steven dunce does not broadcast with Setanta? Or does he do both Setanta and Sky?

setanta is the main boxing channel in uk but sky is PPV channel

Lampley was so unenthusiastic on his knockout call. I think he was genuinly shocked by the KO. Joe Tessitorre or Gus Johnson would have had heart attack.
