Pac punches in a pretty straight line and he is good at keeping distance while punching. I noticed in the Hatton fight that Pac has learned to tie fighters up when things get hairy inside. When he was on the ropes in the first, he was fighting in close with Hatton and he landed like 4 punches in a row by shortening up his punch to be effective on the inside.

Diaz works really well on the inside but he throws his punches with his elbows close to his sides and uses his hips to throw the punches so that there is less distance when on the inside- hence they have speed but no leverage for power. From the outside he is average.

Pac keeps him at a distance and lands the jab all night and then out of no where starts to land the left as a counter when Diaz throws an overhand right.
KO for Pac in under 5 rds

Manny by murder. It would have been a boys punches vs a man's the way pacquiao throws with devastating power.

Pac has always been a hard hitter, he's got a good KO percentage. The one punch power just got toned down in the higher weights. One announcer said I think it was Jim "We havent seen this power from Pac since his days in the lighter division" or something like that.
