I voted no. He doesn't have to fight Pac to get this. If Mayweather beats Marquez then beat Cotto or Berto, then moved up to 160 and beat Strum or Pavlik, that would put him in the number one spot. Not that he'd do that, I'm just saying it's not the only way for him to regain the p4p #1 spot.

I agree with this, a #1 P4P distinction usually has nothing at all to do with 1 fighter beating a current P4P champion. It just so happens that in this case the two fighters are close enough in size to fight. If he beats Pac, Floyd will be p4p #1 again or he can beat a **** load of good opponents who are bigger than him.
