the title of the thread is "left hand of doom". it sounded like it might be worth reading or contributing too. but when i come in here and its some nut riding ******ity comparing two amazing punches its annoying.

Yea I know, but you get what I mean. He landed the same shot against Morales in their first fight in the last round when Morales turned southpaw and it looked like it landed just as sweetly but Morales didn't go down.

it's not a technically textbook punch that's why it's hard to categorize.

that's why people call it different things.

the only punches that stick to mind that remind me of it is the way david tua used to throw his right hand and how the young george foreman used to throw his right hand.
