PBF vs Pacman, 1 thing is for CERTAIN...

Bicker all you want about who would win between PBF and Pacman. However one thing needs to be said.

It isn't as though PBF is coming to take back what is rightfully his. It's not the return of the king. It's not as though Pac was simply holding it for the time being until Floyd returned. Pac is the p4p champ. If Floyd wants the title back, he will have to beat Pac to get it.

While Floyd was busy making laptop commercials and chumming it up with celebrities during his retirement, Pac was steady making big fight after big fight. Pac has never been scared of a challenge and has fought to please his fans. All the while, humbly fighting who his managers and promoters told him to. Floyd hasn't had the workmanship or passion to further his career or legacy in the way that Pac has. So everybody should realize that Pac is the bigger star and it is his spotlight, not Floyds.

More importantly, it is Pac's legacy and career that puts Floyd's to shame.

Manny's 2 greatest wins are sloppy second left overs from Floyd. If Floyd comes back and beats JMM he becomes p4p #1 again by default.

As a Floyd fan, I never care about that stuff. These 3 guys including JMM, are all around the same weight so they can fight it out in the ring. Is it a really a big deal to say that this guy is #1 or the other guy is? No, let them just decide it in the ring.

Yeah, who cares about those bums, Barrera, Morales, and JMM.
I'll admit the fact that DLH was still game when he fought PBF, but was a corpse when he fought Pac. But Hatton was just as game since the time PBF beat him. Only Manny did it better.

Mr boat buyer wasn't gonna fight a top WW anyway, but even beyond the $ this is 1 more reason he'll target Pac. His ego won't allow him to admit it, but dude knows he's been supplanted, and by a guy the public embraces. I think he KO's Pac, but Pac is mos def the man right now.

                1. doesn't matter that manny did it better, they both knocked him out and floyd arguably fought a better version of him (though admittedly only slightly)
                2. either way floyd still beat them both BEFORE pac and so that means pac's victories over them mean nothing over floyd

Agree: Floyd isn't #1 when he comes back. The only way to up Pac without fighting him is to beat JMM and then a true top WW like Cotto or Mosley. But the goal would be to fight Pac.
I would like to see people actually dismiss Floyd as being #1 just to see how Floyd responds in the ring.

For Pac: Roach actually said before that Manny wanted Floyd and not Hatton. However, the problem now is with Manny since if Roach and Arum have it there way without Manny demanding a fight with Floyd, they may skip by Floyd or make it so hard on Floyd to get the fight with Pac that Floyd skips it.
Roach will wait until he "sees something" (like Schmeling said about Louis) before he takes on Floyd. Plus he'll want Floyd to cave to certain things like weight and probably gloves used.
Roach will only send Manny into the ring with Floyd if he can get him to come down in weight and also if he sees Floyd has slid on his return.

I also think Floyd hasn't wanted to make a true statement in the sport for a while. His Goal early on was to make a big mark but it later became about getting O$car and cashing out.

I actually thought after Pac destroyed Oscar (dead or not), that Floyd would think about coming back. And then Pac going after Hatton was a big slap in the face...so Floyd did the obvious; he set up a fight with JMM. JMM being the same fighter that gave Pac hell and some say he beat Pac. I also think that is why Arum doesn't like the fact that Floyd is fighting JMM. If Floyd knocks out JMM, no matter where the fight is being held, it would still be a ***** slap back to Manny's camp. Floyd won't get credit by the majority of the fans but I have my doubts he would get credit if he moved up to MW and fought and beat Abraham. Either way, Floyd only has one thing on his mind and that is to make as statement back to Pac. And, it will help lure Pac to fight him. I think Pac would, but I'm not sure Arum and Roach would let him until they see where Floyd is at.
