Hatton always beat the fighters he was supposed to and some he wasn't supposed to and only lost to current P4P #1 Champions...

People that like to compare Hatton to a Gatti should remember that Gatti struggled and also lost to many fighters that a top notch fighter should have easily beaten while Hatton NEVER lost to B or C level fighters like Gatti did. Ricky would still beat any 140 pound fighter (besides Pc of course) and if that's what he decides to do I will always support him. Either way, Ricky Hatton had an amazing career and will be in the Hall of Fame one day!

Hatton is a great fighter and was a great Champion. Give Pac some credit, the guy is an amazing fighter who looks even better at 140 then any other weight.

Good post. You're right, Hatton never lost to B or C class fighters.

Let's be real here, Who can beat these 2 at the moment?

I was afraid that Hatton had a chance against Mayweather but May TKO'd him.
I was convinced that Hatton's size would be too much for Pacquiao on fight night, but Pacman TKO'd him.

Hatton beats any power puncher/slow fighter. He's only 30 years old and looked very active against Pacquiao while it lasted.

Manny Pacquiao deserves a lot of credit for this fight, Ricky Hatton ain't done yet Imo.

Nah come on, Hatton needs to call it a day now... he has plenty of money, it will be very hard to come back from such a loss.

At least Gatti was fun to watch. I would rather sleep in a dumpster than watch Ricky Hatton fight. Unless his head is being knocked of its swivel.

He's not a bum, but he never belonged at the top of the division and especially in the ring against greats. He has/had the skills to be contender or weak belt holder....
