    TV is scripted?

    ALERT THE PRESS!

Why are you surprised? Do you also find it odd that camera men follow them during their ring entrance.

      LMAO.

      Pacquiaos celebration was scripted. LMFAO.

      Wow, you guys are amazing.
So I take it you watched the video?

What do you call it when a man in an HBO shirt comes upto you and literally TELLS YOU to go and pray/thank god/be in awe of the occasion?

Natural free flowing expression of raw human emotion right?

      lol yeah okay.

You probably watch The Hills and think it isn't scripted. LOL.

Please please tell me why the hell they needed a guy to go Manny to kneel in the corner with his face in his hands?

Am I the ONLY one who thinks that's bull****?

I think there's too much outside influence in the ring ALREADY, without everything down to how the fighter even celebrates already pre determined.

I just think it sucks ass.

Boxing has been WWE since de la Hoya lost against Mayweather.

It has to be done with order or HBO does not get the footage that they need later. I talked to Arum's lawyer about 4 years ago and he said HBO is thier biggest cash cow because they sell the rights to the footage to HBO.

HBO is paying huge ammounts of money for the rights to this footage so you think there isn't some kind of order or script these guys go by? If you have never been on a set, then you wont understand how important this all is. I went to school for this when I was in the 6th grade lol and it just opened my eyes about just how things are done behind the scenes.

Manny would have eventually got on his knees anyways but that is the shot that was called from the booth and the camera man is just following orders. Yes, people have to be told where to stand and where to be when a shot is being taken. DUH!

Another thing they do, besides the phony emotional breakdown, is bring the fighters kids into the ring after the fight. I think that it's complete BS to bring a child to a pro boxing match. Remember when Cotto's child was bawling his eyes out after seeing his dad get knocked out? He can thank HBO for that memory.

Yeah it's just ****ing gay man.

It takes away from the experience when you literally see a guy telling a guy to go pray so he can get some good tv footage for his boss in a time where we're sposed to be seeing raw emotion from the fighter.

I guess some here are too close to Pacs nuts to see it.

So you're saying that all the times we've seen fighters running around the ring, jumping up on the turnbuckle and shooting their hands in the air with glee was a carefully scripted and planned thing and the fighters were monitoring their positions the whole time in order to get the best shot?

I can understand the fighter running upto the cameras of his own free will and expressing his own emotion.

However, watching a fighter being DIRECTED to a specific spot to do a specific action to celebrate his victory is GAY.

For what it's worth I HAVE been on a TV set. A few years ago I was on a kind of reality show that spanned about a year that took some high school kids who never sang before to china to sing in a Choir competition blah blah etc (the shame lol).

I know about what goes on behind the scenes. I pretty much dont even watch TV anymore now that I know that most of the stuf I see, even in "reality" shows and even documentarys is just a load of BS.

Now, something so (supposedly) random as the sport of boxing where anyting can happen at any time, it's disappointing to see even something so simple as watching a fighter celebrate and being able to see his raw emotion is negated and regulated by a TV company.

Well considering the people from Setanta sport were saying

                      MANNY SHOULD NOT BE CELEBRATING!

I guess we can't please everyone. You get mad if they make him pray so they can the shot out of the way, and the British Announcers get angry if Manny Celebrates.

I don't care if you like the fact that it was scripted. I understand why it was done. It don't piss me off. When Floyd prays, I don't it is sincere either lol but Manny is always talking about God. Floyd on the other hand is always talking about ***** this and biatch that and phuk here and so on. Sorry you are not happy with this and I hope you don't hurt yourself over it because it is not that important, you said yourself you know how things work so why are you making such a big deal about it?
