ricky hatton let the whole united kingdom down

Hatton cost me 50 Quid! and you know, it all makes sense now. As I look back all the signs of him being rubbish were there. If he does fight again in the uk, he will only draw a crowd as a celebrity, not a boxer, because I hope I never have to see him again, he disgraced us all. And it's the bloody sun newspaper's fault for hyping him so much, I hate the british media, always hyping bruno over lewis, hatton over calzaghe, khan over someone good.

    THEY SUCK

        ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I think no-one out of manchester now, I'm just so angry that the hype distracted me from the glaring flaws.

I'm sure he did, but it ain't like he didn't try. He just lost, plain and simple.

Ricky gave us some memorable nights and exciting moments in boxing. He's no where near elite level but I don't think he let the whole country down by losing to a truly special fighter. If he ducked the best and settled for mediocrity then that would let the country down, but he dared to be great and that's no more than we can ask for..
