  • lost a lot of respect last night

Well I am not to proud to say that Ricky hatton is my favorite fighter after that huge loss, but I must say that I really lost a lot of respect for the guy last night. I really can not believe that he thought he could come out and fight in such a pathetic manner and pull of a win. He learned absolutley nothing in this new training camp with Snr. Maybe I was ****** thinking he could change, but I honestly thought we would see a few changes in him and he would not still make the same mistake over and over again.

Sorry Ricky, but if you are gonna fight like that at the elite level, then you deserve to get KTFO.

Glad Ricky is ok, but it's time to hang up the gloves now and call it a day. You are a 'World class' fighter but fall very short at the elite level.

Props to Manny and all his fans for his spectacular win. I really hope he can go all the way and beat Mayweather - he deserves to be P4P no1.

Well, I can say I am still PROUD to be a Ricky Hatton fan, he thought he could win and so did I, He fought the best and got beat by the best just shocked how quickly it ended really seemed it was over before it started.

I think Ricky did have a plan but i don't think he realized how fast Pac was and on top of that those first couple blows rattled him.. so like roach said, he would go back to his old ways and that's exactly what happened..

What really impressed me was Pac's power.. seemed like he got stronger coming up from jr lightweight to jr welterweight..

Hatton needs to have one more fight back in england as a goodbye to his fans that supported him so much

I don't consider Hatton a world class fighter. He can't even extend his arms fully and has to leave himself wide open by lungeing forward and hugs way to much. Also his power and chin seem to be vastly over rated.

People say he would of been nothing without that kostya tszyu win and I now believe that. Also he lost to collazo and Urango but got the decision because of boxing politics. I don't believe Hatton should of even gotten this far to fight such an opponent as Pac. I hate to say this but I really believe this to be true now.

Now Cotto on the other hand, is a real world class fighter and a real competitive opponent for Pacquiao.

Hatton clearly has never been an elite fighter, just a plucky world level fighter.

I don't see how you can feel let down by him because you would have had to have been blind to think anything else of him.

He took on the best, but came up short, no disgrace in that.

I have more respect for him then the tomato can bashers.
