    Was Hatton past his best?

Was Hatton past his best? Has he lost his punch resistance?

After the Lazcano fight where Hatton nearly got knocked out most people wrote him off as pretty much done. Many posters did, and so did the press.

Hatton is in his 30's now, has abused his body, and has a life time of using his chin as a defence. Has his punch resistance gone? Is he now drained at the weight in his 30s? He looks atrocious at the weight nowadays!!

Of cause Pac will always beat him, but is there a chance that this is not the Hatton who beat Kosta Tszyu many, many years ago.

He needs to retire. I dont know what problem he had with Mayweather Snr, but all tactics and game plans were thrown out of the window as soon as the bell rang.
It was as he said, "to hell with Mayweather Snr's game plan"..I will do it my own way..

His best? What was his best? When he beat a shot Kostya or Castillo? Or when he got his head handed to him by Collazo? The guy has always been garbage and now the entire world knows it. The only reason he gets big fights is because he has a huge following.

Hatton did very well against Malignaggi, people praised both him and Mayweather Sr. for that win.. So, no I don't think so.. A guy like Hatton just isn't meant to fight p4p no 1 like Mayweather and Pacquiao.. He's wide open for a quick counter hook and both Mayweather and Pacman is known for their quick hands.

He got lucky by facing air-fisted Malinaggi which made most people believe that he was somehow back. Obviously he's been done for 1 1/2 years. In reality, he's looked like **** every since beating Tsyzu.

He had just put a beating on Malignaggi who is no push over, though not at hes best he was still very close to it.. I think it was the fact Pac was so well prepared.

Just by watching 24/7 and seeing Pacmans training I immediately picked him to win this, they were doing any means possible to win this fight.. he was just so well prepared so well conditioned, he had Roach training him and correcting every mistake and anything Roach missed you had Moorer there to pick up on ..

They studied Hatton so well, they knew all hes weaknesses and how to capitalize on them.
