Okay so what are the excuses?

What is it this time? Was Hatton hung-over? Was he over the hill? Paco still hasn't proven himself? Maybe Hatton wasn't used to the weight.

Point is, what are the excuses now? Is Paco the real thing yet? Can he get some propers?

Look, regardless what the outcome will be for the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight; that should be a fight right there. No one has been able to give Pacquiao a fight since the 2nd JMM fight. Speaking of JMM, i think that's the one fighter who give Paco a tough time.

Is Pacquiao good enough to be considered elite yet? Is it me or has Pacquiao's been slaughtering his opponents lately.

Just like the entire Chicago Bulls line-up in game 7 against Boston, Ricky Hatton contracted swine flu.

Cortez threw a bottle into the ring that landed perfectly on Rickys jaw. I seen it on my HD TV.

Hatton was dehydrated, roach saw the IV marks and told pacquiao to sick'em.

No excuses from me. I'm shocked it happened so fast. It looked like the old Ricky. You could almost tell from his facial expression when he was thinking of attacking which was all the time. He was noticably slower than Pac and left himself wide open.

I think he should retire. It will not be satisfying for him to not fight at the top level and I'm now convinved that unfortunately he does not belong there. Too bad. I really like him as a person and fighter.

Now my two favoritte fighters have retired I hope (Hatton+Calzaghe). It's gonna be a dull life from now on.

i dont think ricky will give any excuses, did anyone notice how worried his girlfriend looked before the fight? i think ricky had had a conversation with her before hand and admitted he didnt have it any more and that he was going to get hurt, she wasnt even cheering him on before the fight, very strange. i feel bad ricky got ktfo like that, hope he retires

i don't think anyone outside of hatton fans actually thought that hatton was going to win but more of that hatton would give manny problems in a losing effort but he didn't.
if the ref would of let ricky maul manny maybe the outcome would of been different but he didn't, you have to give floyd and his team credit for opening the refs eyes, now it seems like hatton can no longer wrestle

Hype/promotional talk can make one person think another person can do something that same person probably thought that other person wouldnt be able to do before the hyping started.

Therefore, when their original beliefs are confirmed, they start to think back to the reasons why they thought he couldn't/wouldn't win in the first place before the hype/talk, hence we have "excuses".

Not enough time to change tactics with new trainer.
                  Floyd Jr ended him already.
He's an overrated come forward boxer with no defense who hasn't done anything special.
                  etc

But when it comes down to it.

                  Hatton cant change.

Team Pac did their homework, studied Hatton hard, and the result was that PacMan ****ed the ****ing **** out of Hatton.

                  That's pretty much it really.

Pac was cursed from the beginning and was destined to lose when his mom flew to Vegas to watch her son fight, then Hatton's mum came to Vegas and neutralized the bad juju.
