David Diaz still isn't that great.

In fairness to Ricky, Pacman was a bit cautious, not against David Diaz per se, but what type of power a true lightweight ( and higher) can bring to the table. It was Pacquiao's first time out of 130, and Diaz was slow enough for him not to take chances of being tagged. The same goes for the Oscar De La Hoya fight.
I think the same "David Diaz-De La Hoya" strategy was Team Pacquiao's plan right from the get go, until Hatton pissed Manny off, and the main plan went out of the window and Pacquiao went all out to war. Good thing he was too fast for Ricky, both offensively and defensively, or we could be looking at a different result tonight...Comment

i've always respected Diaz. In fact, the Diaz vs. Pacquiao fight is my favorite Paco fight.
Pacquiao absolutely slaughtered Diaz. He beat JMM. He punished DLH and killed Hatton. This ***** is crazy!! Is Pacquiao the real deal yet?Comment
