Pacquiao is great. But put this in perspective. We all knew he'd knock Ricky out.

I never bought the whole Hatton was bigger thing. I though Hatton could last a bit longer if he used his jab. But Ricky is a dumb fighter and got what was coming to him.
Couldn't have said it better. I didnt expect it in this fashion though.

      Hope Ricky is OK.

What a truly devastating performance from Manny. I don't think any of the top welters would be able to handle the combination of power and speed that Manny is currently bringing into the ring.

One more thing, Pacquaio is greater then Mayweather, unless Mayweather can prove us wrong.

How was the unexpected? Did you miss the part where Hatton was nearly knocked out by a washed up Juan Lazcano?

Hatton saw the punch. You could see his eyes close to brace for the impact. It was just so powerful and right on the money.

If they were the same size that would be an interesting clash.

Hatton had no defense, no hands, no head movement, and left himself open on the way in. Great win by Pacquiao. Pacquiao is now considered as a bigger ATG than Floyd, and Floyd has to beat him to prove otherwise.

Floyd did the same to Hatton, outclassed him, capitalized on mistakes but took longer to KO him because Pacquiao is more aggressive... the reason Hatton was rocked so early was because he left himself open against a very aggressive fighter.

Obviously Manny has a good chance of beating Floyd, but we can't base it on this win... Floyd is much harder to hit, he wont be a sitting target if he is the same fighter he used to be. This fight has to happen if Floyd beats Marquez convincingly.

Great win by Pacquiao though, he used what he learned in the training camp, while Hatton did not... I was shocked too, Hatton should now retire.
