Only if Pacquiao hadn't hit him. The KO punch would have felled anybody short of LHW, and probably most of those. And from 30 seconds into the fight that result looked inevitable.

We, and Ricky, just have to accept that we've found his limits; he's a great boxer, but not good enough to beat the elite and reach the absolute top of the sport. No shame in that, although Hatton will be feeling some right now. I just hope he retires, now.

Imo Hatton just screwed himself over tonight, it was the same against floyd, only floyd took a while longer to capitalise, Hatton walked to the ring with the same deer in the headlights look and screwed everything up, he pretty much bum-rushed the p4p number 1 and of course he got severly punished, I have to salute pac, but Ricky, man i dunno, im a bit disgusted really
