i keep telling people that the fight isn't as easy as they think it is. 50-50 fight, mayweather being inactive and marquez being untested at 143

Keep in mind JMM was 140 in his fight with Diaz, 144 isn't much more, weight isn't going to be an issue for JMM. I think this is a very bad matchup for Mayweather because PBF likes it when fighters come straight to him so he can potshot. JMM is an extremely smart fighter, an excellent counterpuncher, he's got great accuracy and beautiful combos, and he can be very active if needed.

PBF is a fast potshotter, extremely good defense, and an excellent counterpuncher. His biggest weakness is his lack of activity and I think JMM is going to take full advantage of that, he is going to force PBF to be more active which would mean his defense would weaken. If PBF gets hit hard with some combos he is going to be even more cautious and JMM will just win the rounds due to higher workrate.

This is such a bad matchup for PBF, I feel bad for him, this shouldn't be his first fight back. A fight with Cotto would have been a much better matchup for him. I wanted to see PBF vs Pacquiao later this year but I think JMM will beat him.
