If he manages to get on the inside then probably, if the fight is on the outside though then it wont make any difference... in my opinion Hatton has to make Pacquiao fight his fight to win, getting on the inside and trying to rough him up...

Even Floyd Mayweather who is considered by many to be feather fisted at 147, and even more so at 154, rocked granite chinned Oscar once or twice in their bout at 154.
Hatton will walk through Manny's punches but even he can't do it FOREVER. Manny can't hurt Hatton from a punch or even a few but IF he continues to pummel him in the same way he did to Oscar then Hatton too will begin to get worn down in the later rounds. But if history shows us who will be hurt early it will be Pac who already has 2 KO losses to body shots and Hatton is one of the elite body punchers in the sport today.
Morales had a good chin until Pac dismantled him in the middle rounds, and then knocked him down for the first time in his career. An accumulation of punches and their effects, are Hattons biggest problem.

Yes. Pac don't want to be close to Hatton. That would be giving the fight to Hatton.

            wrong.

Just watch the Hatton-Tszyu fight. Tsyzu is/was considered one of the strongest fighters ever at his weight class. He trained like a beast and was not only hugely physically strong but also has arguably the greatest 140lbs punch power in history and Hatton bullied him and submitted him through pure ugly brutal strength alone.

Morales was shot and was already owned by Zahir Raheem.

Pac did no such thing in their first fight where Morales dominated him.

Pac was still successful in the first fight. And Morales was beating Pac for the first 4 rounds in the second fight, until Pac's brutal combo's started to take effect.

When I make statements like that it means it only wins if you cant adjust to it. I often say speed dont win fights, weight dont win fights, height dont win fights. If you can adjust to those things then the other person will have to adjust also, Tszyu could have done things to win that fight, having a nonbias ref would have helped tremenously.

a lot of ppl forget how skill Hatton is at attacking the body in addition to being relentless. Pac's quick but kinda bounces in & out straightway--you gotta give Ricky angles when stepping out and also have to be able to fight going backwards (ref. check hook) I've seen the 24/7 footage of Roach and Pac working on turning, stepping around the opponent and countering but I'm not convinced Pac can do this against Ricky's attack. Manny's fast hands will benefit him and since neither of these guys is a defensive wizard then a brawl is imminent--advantage Hatton. Pac has to repeatedly tag Ricky coming in; HARD and step out of the way so the Ricky has to reset. Really don't think he can do it all night. ricky a beast and he's improved his head movement so methinks he'll be too much...
