It isn't going to help his legacy at all. Those of us who follow the sport just see this as him reaching for more money. Not proving himself. A boxing fan where the last match they watched was Hatton VS Floyd or Floyd VS Oscar isn't going to have an opinion or care as much as those of us who frequent this forum daily or watch every fight that airs on TV through out the year. I already said this is brilliant marketing, because he knows any other day of the week nobody would've listened. The news would have trickled through ESPN and HBO and the forum and nobody would have cared until they started airing a JMM/Floyd 24/7.
