Wow, so much crying over Marquez moving up in weight, but nobody upset when Floyd had to fight a much bigger Oscar. Love the hypocrisy of this forum.
So it's ok as long as Floyd's opponents outweigh him but not vice versa?

don't forget the much bigger Castillo who was champion at 135 when Floyd moved up from 130 and was the underdog and Castillo outweighed him by over 10lbs on fightnight and Floyd hurt his hand early and still dominated his ass, don't forget the bigger sharmba mitchell who had already been at 147 for a while when Floyd moved up from 140 and in his first fight at 147 KTFO Mitchell with a body shot, and many more.Comment

Floyd is forcing an age 36 boxer who's fought below 130 until well into his 30s to move up two weight divisions to fight him.
If Floyd is so small, why didn't he move down to 135 to face JMM? For your information, JMM can still make 130 if he wants to, he only moved up to 135 to seek a fight with Pacquiao.
And yes, perhaps Floyd should fight PWill, because it would be the only time in his entire career he wouldn't have a reach advantage with his 26" arms. A real ATG like Duran fought the taller, longer Hearns.Last edited by The Hammer; 05-02-2009, 04:38 PM.Comment

Oscar was close to the same size as Floyd.
