The very first one was kool, but don they seem to get old over time? usually by the fourth episode. Its all the same ol stuff, clips of fighters working the mitts or shadow boxing with dramatic alternative music in the back ground.
Should HBO's 24/7 be a 3 part serious from now on?

I like as many parts as possible but they need to chill with the over done metaphysical/philosophical speeches at the end. Every time they waste 10-15 min concluding how Las Vegas the mecca of boxing is some sort of metaphysical parable allegory to the plight of the human soul and our carnal animalistic natures fighting for the breath of life and Divine ablution, etc etc, cut that ****** **** out just stick to the fighters it's very wearying.Comment

24/7s are actually very repetitive to me, and have been from the very beginning. Even when Mayweather was my favorite, and he was doing the 24/7 for DLH, I just thought that it went on way too long.
Countdown shows are MUCH better. It makes them put all the interesting parts of a 24/7 into one 30 minute clip.Comment

I wish they could make more of these. The way they capture boxers/boxing on film transcends the actual sport or event itself. I knew who Ricky Hatton was before 24/7, but I found out more about him after watching the series. I came to respect him even more, granted I'm a big Pac fan. They're both gentlemen, and they're both looked at as the people's champ.Comment
