The much energy out and IN the ring. Pac is too fast and NOW too slick for Hatton. I doubt Hatton is going to be able to go to work on Pac's body. How can he punch something he wont be able to get near to without getting hit himself?

Hatton's going to cut in the 5th, might get TKO'd in the 7th.

Yeah, I dont really let myself get pursued by sparring footage. Its those SMALL things you notice in the actual fights that give you a base to form an educated opinion.

Manny improves with every fight. Just watching Morales/Pacquiao 1 and then any of his recent fights, you see 2 completely different Pacquiao's.

I WAS impressed with Hatton against Malignaggi. His offense was on point. Footwork was better. Accuracy moved up a notch, but a lot of the weaknesses that can be easily exploited were still there. He can still be caught coming in and against anyone with some pop, it will be a very difficult night for him.

If Hatton has improved his defense when charging forward, then he will be able to go inside. I just dont believe he has, I havent seen enough from the Lazcano and Malignaggi fights to think he has. And training with Sr for just 2 fights isn't going to change that all of a sudden. That defense has to become routine, second nature and takes time to develop subconsciously.

The sparring footage was so heavily edited that you could never tell. I've never seen Hatton bend below the waste like that though when he slipped those punches. That was interesting.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought Pac also had the better showing on 24/7 for the training part. It makes you think Pac is going to tear Hatton apart.
Roach also mentioned that he got reports Hatton was basically getting knocked around in sparring.

I just hope they both can come in at their best.

I've been going back and forth with who I think will win. Last time out it was Hatton by slight favorite if he could show up at his best, but if he truly hasn't changed, and the Paulie fight was a cloud covering what really is (since Paulie wasn't throwing)...and Hatton shows up like he did against Lazcano...game over.
