JMM was going to 140 anyways!!!!!! Thats the main thing everyone is overlooking. 1st off JMM called Floyd out so stop keep saying that Floyd is dragging him to WW. Floyd is the man wether you guys like it or not so if you call him out then you have to come to him. It happeneds all the time in boxing but because this is Floyd & JMM, people cant stand it. JMM has no problem with it so you shouldnt either.
Back to the main point. JMM was going to 140 anyways so stop acting like he's jumping 2 divisions. If he wouldve had that 1 fight at 140 then this fight would seem a ton more reasonable. If he had beat a Morales or Campbell at 140 then everyone would say that they would love to see JMM vs Mayweather and not one single person wouldve said have the fight at 140 unless they were idiots. In most cases if it had played out that way, the 140 guy would have to come to WW to make the fight. In this case Floyd is being more than fair at meeting him halfway. The same people who rip this fight then turn around and say that they think JMM would beat Morales, Campbell, Hatton, and Bradley at 140. Weve already seen what he could do with Pac, yet the smallest WW in the world is too much for him just a few pounds North of that division? Again, this is the guy who just KO Juan Diaz and physicaly looked very fit no matter how much you guys try to act like he looked horrible.
If Pac beats Hatton at 140 right now and Floyd let it known that he will not come down then Pac would still go to WW without a doubt to fight him. 1 reason is because he knows he has to come to the man and the other is because he knows Floyd is the smallest WW. At the least if Floyd meets him at 144 then everyone would say that its totally fair. Its the same case with JMM. He was going to 140. Stop overlooking that point to make yourself look better. If he's going to 140 then its ver fair for him to meet Floyd halfway at 144. Honestly, if I was Floyd right now I wouldnt come down at all. I would make JMM come to WW since its obvious that the haterz are going to take credit from you anyways. Stay at WW so you can keep your weight high for when you fight Mosley. If Pac wants it then make him come to WW too. The bottom line is this. No matter how much you dont want to admit it, Floyd is the biggest star in boxing right now and he's still going to be seen as the #1 guy until you beat him. Floyd can make way more money fighting a bum then a guy like Pac could and way way way more then a guy like JMM could. If they really want the major pay day then they have to come to Floyd and he shouldnt bow down to any of them.
Even tonight, Floyd's comeback will be just as big as the Hatton-Pac fight itself. Everyone will be talking about it all night and you know Merchant will ask the winner about it. Look at our boards. The guy has been retired for a long time yet the boards are still dominated by Mayweather threads 24/7. He's the man, seriously so why shouldnt JMM have to come to him? Be reasonable. I think Floyd should make JMM come to WW and then he's set. Not only that but it would be best if he suddenly put on weight in his retirment and could come into the ring at 155 pounds. If he got up to 155 and the weight looked real & natural then he dominates the WW's without a doubt. Seriously though, if JMM had one single fight at 140 like he wouldve had then everyone would be saying that they want to see him fight Floyd at 144 and if you dont beleive so then your just being a homer. The hardcore media wouldve said that JMM should go to WW to fight Floyd. I hope Floyd makes him come up at this point. If its at 144 then there is flat out no excuses
