2009 is the year boxing goes back to its best

Floyd just announced his comeback, Floyd vs JMM should be a good fight, the winner of that fights the winner of tonights Ricky vs Pacman fight. That would be a cracker, especially if Pacman wins tonight.

Then we have a trilogy between Haye and the Klits to look forward to this year, also Froch trying to break into USA with possible fights with Pavlik, Kessler etc.

We also have that young Brit Kahn (sp?) coming over here wanting to fight for our titles with good opponents.

Damn it's gonna be good... this is the year boxing catalyses to great heights again!!

Floyd vs JMM has the potential to be a super letdown. One extremely cautious counter puncher vs another counterpuncher? JMM isn't going to be extremely agressive. He's too smart for that. This fight could just be average and a big let down for casual fans who buy the PPV.

Froch against anyone would be pretty much exciting.

Cotto/Clottey should be very satisfying for everyone. The possibility of a rematch with Mosley is even better.

Lets hope so my friend. But I think last year was a great year for boxing as well. As of right now Boxing imo is at its best.
