I agree it shouldn't be a shock. Pacquiao is P4P #1, but he's never fought at 140, he spent most of his life way below this weight. So why would it a shock for anyone?
But Manny hasn't fought anyone as good as Hatton? You seriously telling me Morales and Barrera are not as good as Hatton?
i want hatton to win...dont care how he does it.....be sweet if he won a decsion.....make freddie roach look like the ******* that he is.....and maybe win a controversial split.....just so the *******s can get there vaj jay's all wet over it........
hatton by decision pac does well earlier....competitive in the mid rounds.....hatton takes control late....manny could get knocked down 11 or 12th.....you can discourage manny, and once he is discouraged he is a weak minded fighter.

do you have a crystal ball or some taro cards to see the future?
Hatton has the toolbox to beat Pacman, and I think the smarts, too. If he gets inside and stays inside throughout the fight and puts constant pressure on Manny and uses the same tactics he did against Costya Tszu (ugly fight to watch, that), I think he'll have a good chance of stopping Pacman late, and an even better chance at a decision win. Pacman doesn't fight as well on his heels, and doesn't have the power as close up on the inside that he does from the range where he prefers to throw the straight left. The biggest problem for Ricky, obviously, will be keeping out of the way of that fast lead left from Manny. I think he probably catches several flush during the first 3 or 4 rounds. If he can weather those and make it to mid-rounds, then I give him about a 50/50 chance at a win.
If there's a stoppage before the 6th, it should be a Pacman win. After the 6th, I think it'll be by Hatton in a huge upset.
It's Hatton's fight to win or lose, honestly. If he shows up with the right gameplan he's got a great shot.
