The Scale-a-braters...the faction of us who wait for the fighter they are with to step on the scale at the weigh-in...then when he makes the weight they go just about crazy, whooping, clapping, patting him on the back, celebrating like they already won the fight...I NEVER could understand that and I swear I think that 99 percent of them do it only because they saw someone else do it on TV and they think that is just the way it is done. I would love to stop one of them mid celebration and ask them, "Seriously, seriously, WHY are you bugging out right now? He made weight? What? He is SUPPOSED to make weight!"
I mean, it is just so crazy to me...I also like when the friends and hangers on of a fighter will literally crowd around him when he steps on the scale and they will INTENTLY look at the scale with serious looks on their faces LOL I LOVE THOSE GUYS!!! It's like u want to say, "Listen, idiot. Relax. It's not your job. You are just his friend from high school. Stop pretending you even know what you are looking at or why. They will tell you what he weighs in a second and then you can go into your super bowl winning celebration."
They are on par for me with the friends of the fighters who get in the ring with him before a fight and glare at the opponent like they are extras from the "gang fight" dance-off in Michael Jackson's early 80's "Beat It" video.
So quiet down, take your ****** sunglasses off and go sit down in your free seat in the fourth row before this guy walks over and actually punches you in the mouth.
